LA-200 500 ML. - ZOETIS - A concentrated injectable antibiotic contains 200 mg./cc. oxytetracycline. Effective treatment for a wide range of diseases, long acting formulation provides sustained blood levels for 3 to 4 days following a single intramuscular injection. This product has also been cleared for pinkeye treatment in cattle. One shot, at the normal recommended dosage rate, gives 3 day antibiotic therapy to eliminate the pinkeye bacteria. Infected eyes can then heal quickly. Dosage: Intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SQ) 4.5 cc. per 100 lbs. of body weight. Caution: Discontinue treatment at least 28 days prior to slaughter of cattle and swine. The only long acting formulation approved for lactating dairy animals.
