What is the Super Parer? How does it compare to other paring knives?
The Super Parer is our largest paring knife and offers both comfort and versatility. While similar in size to our Heavy Duty Paring Knife, the blade and handle of the Super Parer are slightly larger, giving it more cutting area and an easy grip.
What about the quality of Rada blades?
The hand-sharpened, razor-sharp edge of our surgical-quality, T420 high-carbon stainless steel blade ensures the durability of our knives. This specialized construction allows for easy at-home sharpening of smooth blades with Rada’s Quick Edge Knife Sharpener.
Why do I need a Super Parer?
Flexible enough for large chores like breaking down a whole chicken but sturdy enough to slice and dice its way through potatoes. It can cut just about anything you put in its way.
What handle styles are available?
This knife has three handle options. The silver handle is made from permanently cast silver brushed aluminum and has a satin finish. The traditional black handle as well as the black handle of our Anthem Wave Series is constructed from black stainless steel resin. All fit beautifully into any kitchen décor.
What knives do I need?
If you’re just getting started and don’t know what to choose, pick a paring knife, a serrated knife, and either a cook’s knife, utility knife, or chef’s knife – you can do a lot with those three. After you’ve mastered these knives, build on your collection.
