We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our Coop members and customers to Tim Maupin, the Chief Executive Officer of our new Cooperative, Freedom Ag & Energy. It is of the utmost importance that you, our loyal patrons, can rest assured that the transition to Freedom Ag, effective January 1, 2023, will be overseen by a leader with excellent credentials. Mr. Maupin resides in Rockingham, Virginia, where he raises beef cattle on his farm in Penn Laird. He has spent the past 40 years working for Rocco and Cargill. He is the former Vice President of Agriculture Operations with Cargill. The decision to place Mr. Maupin in this leadership position was made with great care by the board of Freedom Ag & Energy. His experience and expertise will equip this cooperative with a foundation on which to grow and flourish in the new year. We are very pleased to welcome him to our team.
